Well, it is pretty clear your machine doesn't have Gecko stepper drivers,
then. They really fix the old stepper mid-band resonance problem like
no other drive.
(I'm generally a servo snob, but the Gecko drives are the first that make
me see that steppers actually can give good performance without insane
mechanical damping schemes.)
