For my Chevy, which is by now over 1 year old, I am changing oil
myself. I use Mobil 1 for oil, however I am not sure what brand to
use for the filter. Does anyone here have any preference? The last
time I used a Bosch, however, I have no idea if there are better
filters than that.

Another question concerns creepers. This Chevy is not as convenient
for oil changes as was my Dodge, so, my question is, has anyone tried
to use a creeper such as one from Harbor Freight. Has it been helpful
in getting under the truck or is it not worth the space it would be
taking. Thanks

If you are limited to a creeper, they can be a godsend. I used to use
one A LOT working on various cars, including my racecar. I would jack
the vehicle up as high as I could get it and put it on jaackstands then
scoot under it on the creeper. My girlfriend bought me a four post lift
about five years ago and the two creepers I have haven't seen the light
of day since. Best $1900 she ever spent. I use it very often.

Where did she get one for 1900?? I'm in the planning stages of a
garage/workshop and I'd love to squeeze in a lift.
