Google Devcon to see if there's a dealer in your area. Devcon makes
epoxy-based fillers of all kinds, including the steel-filled sort that
is JB Weld. They have ceramic-filled stuff for hard-surfacing,
aluminum-filled for aluminum parts, urethanes for wear-resistant
surfaces. Rubber compounds, too. A whole lot of stuff. At least they
did when I worked in a machine shop and bought lots of it in bigger
containers. Lots of it is used by millwrights to keep production
machinery going.

US Chemical in Massillon, OH botles the crap.
Find someone inside and hit the defect shelf.
It's over/underweight product.

I once had about 30 rolls of shark skin from here.

Cheers........

Go back to the hardware place and look in the plumbing section.
Harvey's make a plumbers epoxy putty with pretty much the same specs.

I just bought some. It cost 5 bucks for a 4 oz stick.
