This is the Wall Street Journal's lead editorial, on the recent forced
resignation of Porter Goss as the Director of the CIA, and the proposed
replacement by General Hayden (late of NSA).

Also relevant is a prior editorial from just after Porter Goss's
resignation: "Gossed Over -- Another sign that Congress's intelligence
reform is a mess".

Ref: Wall Street Journal, 6 May 2006, editorial page.
Relevant but not (yet?) freely available on the web is "Intelligence
Deficit Disorder - The mess at the CIA is hardly the fault of Porter
Goss", Ruel Marc Gerecht, Wall Street Journal, 9 May 2006, page A18.
Mr. Gerecht worked at the CIA 1985-1994, and now is a resident fellow at
the American Enterprise Institute. Simplest solution is to buy todays
WSJ for $1.00.
