If both of you gentlemen would call me 805-732-5308 Id appreciate it

Jim..I need directions to the match Sunday..Im in Ontario and have
very limited internet access, and cant find the directions.

Bruce , Ive got a couple 9mms, a couple 38/357s, several .45s, my pet
.41 magnum and some others, with me.

Im short on ammo for the 9mm and the 38s, didnt have time to handload
any over the (working) holiday. You either need to buy some (best
price at Walmart at the moment..."white box", or tell me what you want
to shoot, and Ill buy some for the shoot Sunday.

Call me and we can discuss it.

Gunner, piggy backing on wifi at the moment, though will have a
legitimate connection later friday.

Uhhhh, Gunner, that's Ontario outside L.A., right? As opposed the
province of Canada with 12m bodies.

Just checking :-)).

Just saw this - will call as I'm on my way up there. If we miss
each other, .45 works fine. I can always Dial 1911. Have plenty of
.22LR and .25

East on Bear Valley Road (Hwy 18) and from the aerial maps you make
left on Rabbit Springs Road - it's a dog-leg where Hwy 18 bends south
a bit, and Rabbit Springs follows that due East property line.

Then an IMMEDIATE Left (~100 feet) onto the range access road. a
hundred feet due West, then turn right and about two miles due North
tucked up against the base of the hills.

The whole mess looks like it was a 4-way stop at one time, then they
decided to reconfigure and make the highway through traffic.

I'm going to bed. Don't expect me at 7, I'll try to be rolling by
then, Dad permitting.

It was Great meeting you and Jim Chandler!
I enjoyed working with you on technique and you were doing quite well
there towards the end of the match.

The offer still stands, get yourself a reliable shooting iron of your
choice, and come on up and Ill run you through my personal "stay alive
on the street" course. Or simply come up and Ill dig something up for
you to fire off.

For those of you that could have gone, but didnt, you missed one of
the nicest facilities Ive seen (and Ive seen many), and a great bunch
of people, and a very enjoyable shooting experience.

I fully intend on making any future shoots that they have. Ive not
enjoyed myself (well..except for being so damned rusty at this sort of
competition..sigh...) in a long time and it felt damned good to step
out onto the firing line again. Running a few rounds downrange every
3-6 months just doesnt keep the skill levels honed. Winter (and cooler
weather) is coming..so more range time....time to start reloading and
bullet casting again.

Thanks Jim, and Im looking forwards to meeting you again, and the same
to Bruce.
Bruce, give my respects to your Dad for me. A very nice man indeed.

Gunner, who won the Most Scarred Knees Award.

I have to shake the extended Family Tree and see if there are any
other heirloom shootin' irons that Aunts and Cousins don't know what
to do with... They shouldn't be in closets.

Then I'll start shopping in earnest.

Beats the hell out of the 'unimproved ranges' out in the forest.

You did notice they have their version of a Hogans Alley in the
back, right?

Shall do - it's almost time for the goodnight check-in.

Yeah, you might have the knees, but Dad's still got you beat by a
country mile for the "M.D. Needlework Award".

Need to mill the Savage Stevens Model 34 for a scope, in case I need
to make a Long Distance Call - that works much better than throwing a
rock. Does that get dovetails, or just a couple of tapped holes?
