Sulpher not only causes fracturing when forging at red temperatures, but
also causes embrittlement at cold temperatures. This is far more realistic
than just rivet failures. When the hull hit the berg , the plates cracked
open as opposed to being just denting because of Sulpher embrittlement. I
think the photo is a steam driven lube pump.
