You can get a right angle swivel for it, probably would cost about as
much as an HF reel on sale. You could use a quick-connect pair, put
the male stud on the reel on the axis and have the mating connector on
an elbow to your compressor line. Probably the cheapest way. It'll
eventually leak, but quick-connects are cheap.

McMaster has some swivels that are not too expensive. I think that I
will get one and try to make a nice reel. This reel can easily
accommodate 150 ft of hose, which would be very helpful for some
cases.
