This may be what's causing it because the republicans have gone back to the
strategy of attacking Obama using guilt by association. Palin is now saying
he hangs around with terrorists, or former terrorists. They can't come up
with a program that the people would follow so they are going the route of
trying to make the opponent look like Satan's brother, the bad one. Of
course, it's not going to work because the fallout from 8 years of
republican rule is what is sinking them. They did it to themselves. When you
tell people that government is the problem and the government doesn't work
and then proceed to prove it to them it gives them no reason to keep you in
office. Looks like landslide time.

Absolutely correct! The republicans should lose, they're mostly idiots that
abandoned their responsibilities for a run in the feeding trough. What
happened to the "Contract with America"? Greed, corruption and hubris! The
financial crisis was the last nail in McCain's coffin simply by perception.
The actual blame can be spread around widely across party lines and the real
story will be quite a while in coming if at all.

True but it will be too late for America. By the time current history is
written America will have undergone hyperinflation and possibly a
revolution with Texas, California and Deseret leaving the the union.
Today's economic disintegration is about to go worldwide, the men,
materials, equipment and money squandered in Iraq will have prevented
nailing Osama and the moment America leaves Iraq the three tribes will
have at each others throat dividing the nation up into three pieces. The
Kurds will incite Turkey to invade making the Armenian genocide of 100
years ago look like a walk in the park. Iran will take over the South
taining access to vast oil fields and contemplate invading Saudi Arabia.
North Korea will see an opportunity to take over the South as our
attention is drawn to internal strife and a realignment of the Middle
East. Egypt will devolve into an fundamentalist Moslem state and join
Iran in another attack on Israel who will little option other than to use
their nuclear arsenal.
Yeah, these neocon/republican/wackos have done a dandy job...

Per 60 minutes yesterday US forces were once close to catching
him in Afghanistan but orders came down from on high
to abort the plans.

We usually don't agree on things BUT... I still have hope that you are not
completely correct. I do believe that attacking Israel is not a good idea,
they have certain connections.
