ANYTHING that can be made can be copied, especially if there is $$$ in
it.

Im reminded of a picture I have of a hand extending from the left side
of the screen, holding a CD marked XP Pro..while in the background is
the the Microsoft Sign in Redmond advertising 20 days until the
release of XP Pro....

Or the copies of just about any software you can buy in Hong Kong etc
etc, all perfectly legal looking, that have been hacked so no key code
is necessary. $5 for Autocad etc etc..and less than a day or two after
the release of each title

The ID card can and has been hacked in very short order and will be.
To think otherwise..is utter buffoonery.
