IIRC it'll wreck your skin if you get contact with it. And play
hell with the chemistry at the town sewer plant. That's why they
developed substitutes that (mostly) replace it.

Same thing with certain nasty solvents like Methyl Ethyl Ketone and
Carbon Tetrachloride.
