Good advice. Store the chop saw under the bandsaw. A shelf connecting
the bottoms of the legs will stiffen them.
There's some overlap but the chop saw will cut hard steel and thin
walled shapes that might strip the teeth off a bandsaw blade, while
the bandsaw handles much thicker sections that would choke an abrasive
saw.
