Has anyone here used Zinga and how did it work? I am thinking of it
for a new steel boat trailer.

I've used brands of cold-galv other than Zinga, and wasn't terribly
impressed.

They work OK on areas that will _never_ be subject to any sort of
mechanical contact from anything else, but the film is too weak to
withstand any sort of abrasion or to resist puncture.

Keep in mind that there's a LOT of zinc, and very little binder in that
stuff, so film strength is low.

They also tend to fail if water puddles on an area for any extended
period of time, probably because the coating is somewhat porous.

I've never used it myself but have heard very good reports from
others.
However, if you're building a new trailer, why not just get it hot dip
galvanised?
