Does anyone have any information as to the differences between these
two Irwin Record drill press vices ?

T414        Drill Press Vice 4” (100mm)
TPV3-B        Drill Press Vice 4” (100mm)

They are within millimeters of each other in size yet the TPV3-B
retails at £18.86 and the T414 retails at £106.92 (ex vat prices from
Lawson-HIS)

Is one really five times the vice of the other ?

Where can the cost benefit be seen - accuracy, play, solid gold jaws ?

Adrian.

According to this site
http://www.activeeducationsolutions.com/products/default.aspx?id=308&n=223&cid=0&rid=0&catid=0&pid=849
the T414 is machine finished on the important surfaces. I assume the
TPV3-B is a cast finish.
