Well, I hope you have a use for a motor switch with built-in thermal
overload protection (and no, it doesn't have NVR) because that's what
you have bought.
Doesn't have a built in light either.
You can see the maker and model number in the second pic on the
listing - its a Ziehl-Abegg S-ET 10E. A couple of minutes of work on
Google, as I just did (indeed, considerably shorter than it took me to
write this) would have taken you to the manufacturer's website here:
http://ziehl-abegg.com/ww/fans-product-group-6.html?dtl=1
and the right products page here:
http://www.ziehl-abegg.com/ww/fans-product-group-6.html?dtl=1
and finally the PDF of the instructions for it here:
http://www.ziehl-abegg.com/ww/download-526.html
Whatever solution you finally end up with, its now cost you an extra
£9.50. I guess you could sell it again on Ebay...
Seems very odd to me that you would be reluctant to buy from RS, on a
site where you know they sell NVR devices and they do actually provide
you with all the spec information you need to select the right item if
you only take the trouble to look at it, and instead seem perfectly
prepared to spend a similar amount of money on an Ebay item where you
have absolutely no idea whether it is what you want, and the seller
has, by your own experience, been considerably less than helpful in
providing any information.
Regards,
Tony

I've taken many risks on ebay . the only way to get bargains these
days ...if someone described something right ..it goes for too much
money :(..this is my first ...one thats ended up no good then..luck
of the draw.
if i did look it up on google don't think i would understand weather
it was or not ...
how's about giving me a part number for an nvr on the rs site please .

Mark -
I've already given you all the pointers you need to figure it out. If
you can't figure it out from the information available to you, then
you are simply proving Bob M right...that there is some doubt (I would
say serious doubt) as to whether you should be doing this yourself.

Tony

Which just proves for the second time today what a lousy guesser you
are.
