Makes my caveman smashing rocks together process look a little outdated. Makes my caveman smashing rocks > together process look a little outdated. > Steve Thanks. I'm glad the welds don't look too bad. Did all the welding with my Millermatic 251 and ESAB 7100 Ultra wire. Thanks to Ernie for the advice. It did scorch up my welding jacket a bit. I've always used it, but not for the noise. I'm already on my third set of hearing aids, burning out my hearing from as many loud concerts in my youth as industrial noise. Knew a couple of fellows who had career ending hot dingleberries in the ear. All it takes is one good one to make a convert out of you. You did a nice job on your machine. I want one. I went inside to make lunch and in short order I got paged by work. I started working on the work problem and in short order the storm knocked out the power. Fortunately the UPSes kept things up while I ran out to start the generator. After that things calmed down a bit.
