Is it possible to cut a quarter panel off a car with oxy/act? AWN 11-24-2007

I know that it CAN be cut but is it possible to actually cut the panel
without distorting it so that a patch can be used? I know that an air body
saw or plasma is likely best but how would you suggest tackling (if at all)
with the torch?

I would use nibblers or a saw. More than likely it'll distort the
metal and unless you have the upholstery and glass stripped or
protected, you'll run the risk of damage to them as well.
