Howdy,

I'm looking at getting an older TIG supply as an upgrade to my buzzbox.

The unit is of a type that does not use a footswitch to control the current.

Not being familiar with the necessity of such a feature, when would it come
in useful/necessary? I'm basically just looking to expand my abilities into
aluminum and stainless, as well as thinner metals.

Thanks for any insight,

Jon
