Hello,

What is a common flow rate for the argon when MIG welding?

2" x 2" x .125" angle to some 2" x 2" x 3/16" square steel. I want to make a
carrier for a 125 cc dirt
bike that will fit into my receiver on my truck.

I'm looking into getting a setup and I'm trying to figure out how long a 20
cubic foot tank of argon will last.
It looks like about one hour of welding.

You might be surprised at how long it takes to weld for an hour ... and
depending on your welder , it might be a stretch to weld that heavy of
material . I'm using a Lincoln WeldPak 100 (110v machine), and .125 is about
as heavy as I feel comfy with .
I'm lookin' for a used 220 volt/225 amp machine in the Memphis Tn. area
