It's a decent price, assuming the manufacturer's warranty applies, and
that's the Home Depot version of a very good welder for the home hobbiest.
It's a newer version of the SP-170T that I've been using for 5 years or so
without problems and mine was a few years old when I got it.
Unfortunately, it looks like that dealer isn't very good though, so I'm not
sure the price justifies the risk. Looking over his feedback it seems that
he just ships whenever he gets in the mood to. One person said they paid on
Sunday and he didn't ship until Friday. Another said he hadn't shipped 7
days after payment.
I'd suggest you check your local classifieds and Craigslist to see if you
can find something similar in your area for a decent price before taking a
chance on that eBay dealer.
Also, that's now become the old model. It's been replaced by the Power MIG
180 which has provisions for a spool gun. The model you're looking at
currently lists for $629 from Home Depot while the newer Power MIG 180 is
the same price at Lowes.
