What are the proper temperature/wire speed settings for a Millermatic
251 for welding .025 aluminum plate? I just can't seem to get them
right.

If you flip open the door on the machine you will see a chart.
On the lower part of the chart you will see settings for the 30A
spoolgun.
Set the voltage on the machine.
The wire speed is set on the gun.
You will see a dial on the base of the pistol grip.
The markings on the dial are in hundreds of inches per minute.
So if the chart says 375 then set the dial to 3.75.
